Losing color in Acrobat

Hi, folks:

Using Pentium w/MSW98, FrameMaker5.5 & Acrobat 3.0.

I distilled a MSW doc in Acrobat & got a doc in color.

I imported MSW doc to Frame, distilled in Acrobat & color gone.

Any idea why the color is missing when I use the Frame route?

FYI:  I am in a learning mode with Frame.
