Dear all,
Does anyone know the best way to convert Word 8 files into
Word 6 or 7 format?
The files have lots of formatting, tables, different kinds
of graphics, embedded objects, grouped text, etc.
What we tried until now:
o Saving as RTF and opening in Word 7
o Saving as Word 7 or RTF format with Service Release 1
o Converter for Word 7 wrd97cnv.exe 979 KB (03.12.1997)
o Converter for Word 8 wrd6ex32.exe 639 KB (06.10.1997)
o Other converter wrd6ex32.cnv 44 KB
Either Word "exits unexpectedly" or the formatting gets lost
or the files get corrupted later.
