Deaton, one of the leading lights in the Help Universe and is the same
course that is taught to Microsoft employees around the world.

understanding of WinHelp systems and HTML, this course will teach you what
need to know to create HTML Help projects.

- Use HTML Help Workshop to create a project.
- Use the HTML Help Editor to write text and add graphics.
- Create links within your Help and out to the Web.
- Customize Help for each user with information types.
- Use the HTML Contents Editor to create a table of contents.
- Use the HTML Index Editor to create an index.
- Add style sheets to control formatting.
- Use windows and framesets to create your interface.
- Add custom buttons to your Help.
Amram Hakohen, an Israel-based documentation consultant, will conduct the
seminar. He has been developing online and hardcopy information products
for 14 years for firms such as IBM, Interleaf, Cieba-Geigy, Fidelity
Investments, as well numerous Israel companies such as Bay Networks, Israel.
Amram was an early adopter of hypertext technologies back in 1988 and has
been implementing online help projects since 1991. He holds a M.S. degree
in Technical communication from Rensselaser Polytechnic Institute.
