I haven't seen the article, but the "Framingham communications
company" the author works for is most likely IDG. IDG is a semi-large
conglomerate of various high-tech magazines(most of which have World in
the name, InfoWorld PCWorld etc), and the creators of the "... for
Dummies" books.
