TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
People, please try to tailor your subject line to your topic. I know it's not my place to tell you this, and I'm sure I'll hear from the list admin, but I really don't think it is fair to the person who posted the "visually impared technical writer" thread to have to weed through another topic shrouded under his subject. After all, he's using voice translation software and trying to find a PC that will keep him marketable dispite his visual handicap.
