Subject:Re: Converting Mac screen dumps to PC, Thank You From:"Gray, Melanie A" <Melanie -dot- Gray -at- NAVISTAR -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 17 Jul 1998 14:08:14 -0500
Thanks, everyone, for all your help! I got the issue resolved and was able
to meet my deadline, thanks to your quick response.
On the Mac side we don't have Photoshop or any other imaging program. All I
was able to do was save the screen captures onto a disk. But, after hearing
from so many wonderful people that these were PICT images, I renamed the Mac
files with a PICT extension. Then, when I walked them over (sneaker net) to
the PC it recognized that they were Macintosh images. That allowed me to
open them and I had to do a copy and paste into Photoshop where I finally
saved them as TIF files. Whew! You'd better bet that I saved all these
instructions for later use.
Thanks again, everyone!
