TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
As many of you know, I publish RoboNEWS(tm). Up until now, the quarterly
newsletter has been paper based. I am considering offering a zipped PDF that
is delivered to subscribers through e-mail. If I do this, I am considering
charging about US$50.00 for an annual subscription. The lower subscription
price reflects the cost savings in docuteching and mailing.
Is there interest in this? Is this a price point that interests you? If not,
what is the price point that does interest you (not free! ;>)?
