Subject:Getting PC functionality from a SUN UNIX machine From:Mark Dempsey <mxd2 -at- OSI -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 30 Jul 1998 12:34:52 -0700
If you hold down the alt key on a PC and type in the num pad, you can
enter ASCII characters. [Alt]+155 is the ¢ sign, etc.
Anyone know how to do this on a UNIX system (I use a Sparcstation 5, Sun
box with Solaris 2.6, if that's useful information)?
Thanks,
