TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
My print company's general manager has agreed to come to my plant next
week and give us a mini seminar on printing topics. The whole point is
to make the files we send to them (for b/w jobs, spot-color jobs and
full-color jobs) less error-prone. (Don't get me wrong--we get great
results from these people and enjoy working with them ... we're just
trying to eliminate any trouble spots, and to maximize our printing
dollars.)
If you were given the opportunity to set the agenda for this kind of
meeting, what would you want to include?
