I've hung off this thread for a couple of days now but... I... cannot...
resist... any... longer...
I personally like the variety of questions that appear on this list. The
list is a resource and like any resource, it contains information that you
might never need.
So what.
Many others will gain knowledge not only because of the the questions asked
and the answers given, but also by the conduct of the list users.
Some of the potentially off-topic discussions also help make long days
shorter and often give a chuckle.
As an occasional guilty party myself, I think we sometimes take ourselves
too seriously.

PS I would have included slices of Arlens and the previous comments on this
thread but I always get told off for leaving too much garbage :)
