TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Some of us "met" on the Techwr-l Chat page (thanks, Deborah!) this past
Sunday to discuss general technical writing issues and just have a nice
time. We discussed Javascript, telecommuting, and several other topics.
There was no set topic initially, it was just an informal online
get-together.
We had such a nice time that we're planning to do it again this Sunday.
Currently, meeting time is set for 6PM EST/3PM PST. Anyone interested in
joining us is more than welcome - as they say, "the more, the merrier".
