Unless the company was responsible for it and failed, I'd make it as
"active" as possible:
"The company developed the integrated system XXXXX."
Since the sentence is taken out of context, I'm hoping this still conveys
what you're trying to say. If they were responsible for it and failed,
"responsible" should be fine.
