Talk with Chuck Pagani of Cohera. He presented an excellent solution
to this problem at the STC Region 8 conference last weekend.
Oracle should find the Cohera solution especially congenial, because
it builds a database of information modules, then combines the
modules into websites, help systems, or printed documents.
The system requires a small but manageable amount of discipline. You
write to a style guide, and you manually build "metadata" (keywords,
related topics, document type) for each module.
The modules themselves are in HTML, because Chuck decided that XML
is not yet ready for prime time.
This brief summary hardly does justice to the excellence of Cohera's
solution.
