for the following position:
TECHNICAL WRITER (Entry/Junior Level)
We are looking for an energetic person who wants to pursue a career in
technical writing in this newly established position in the Information
Systems Department. You will compile the organizational knowledge with
respect to our systems and arrange that information into a systematic,
coherent reference book. You will author various manuals for worldwide
users of the company's proprietary software, tailoring these books to
different audiences. Additional writing projects include preparation of
reports and special instructional material. This position will give the
incumbent a superior knowledge of technical writing, computer systems,
and international business operations.
Ideal candidates will have a degree in English, Journalism or a computer
related field. Hands-on experience in preparing manuals or knowledge of
office automation is a plus, but not required at this level.
