Sterling Software (formerly Synon, Inc.) has an opening for a copy editor.
This is an entry-level position, onsite, no relocation assistance. The
position is in Larkspur, CA, in Marin county, 17 miles north of San Francisco.
You will be editing HTML-based online help and three small hardcopy guides,
and coordinating the release/production process. The product is COOL:Plex,
a software development environment for designing and generating business

Familiarity with the software development process, object-oriented
methodologies, and relational databases will help you understand the
documentation we produce. We use RoboHTML and FrameMaker on Windows NT
systems.
