The term "Web" is a reference to the World Wide Web or WWW (the "www" in
www.mycompany.com). Over the past few years, it is now used to refer to
the WWW in general. So, it is not an acronym. I would treat it the
same as Internet (with initial caps).
Of course, the flood gates have opened up here, and you will get a
variety of opinions on this one.
