Hi everyone. I would like to have your opinion about the value of MCSE
certification for technical writers. I'm currently working as a tech
support specialist for a school district, but I'm working towards my
bachelor's degree in technical writing (I should have it completed in 1
1/2 years.) I've taken a training class for Implementing and Supporting
Windows 95, but I haven't taken the exam yet. I'm in the process of
phasing myself out of tech support & into technical writing (trying to
pick up documentation work & looking for an entry-level technical
writing position.) I would be interested to find out what your opinion
is on certification. Also, for any technical writers in the Chicago, IL
area, do you know of any places that offer training classes on
FrameMaker and/or RoboHelp. Thanks and have a great day!!!
