Subject:Securing Help Files From:Jeff Barnes <jlb -at- MDTSOFT -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 20 Nov 1998 15:15:20 -0500
Greetings all,
I am researching the following question:
Can you restrict access to topics within a help system?
I have been tasked to produce a help system for my company's product, but
have also been informed that a past stumbling block to this project has been
the reluctance of the customers to release information to all of their
customers.
I've been scanning the Winhelp archives without much success, but it's been
a cursory process.
Any information you can provide to me will be much appreciated. If you
would like to reply off-line, please contact me at jlb -at- mdtsoft -dot- com , and I
can provide a summary of what I receive. If you want to chew it over in
public, that's just as good for me.
Thanks in advance for your help, and I now return to lurk mode.
