I've learned to depsise it for far less sinister reasons: I've found it
simply produces shoddy, broken HTML.

I made a site for a friend's band.  My friend then edited the pages in
FrontPage and re-uploaded them to the site.  I ended up editing all of them
extensively just to make them work.  And this isn't even server-specific
stuff; worst offence: all image pointers were saved referenced to physical
paths on my friend's local drive (for example,
<img src="file:///c|/temp/band/images/logo.gif>).

Now, I can see this happening if you use a word processor to generate your
HTML... but this is supposed to be a tool intended specifically for web
publishing.  How often would this type of path work, even on an MS server?
