Since you have Distiller and Exchange, why not try rinting your
FrameMaker file to disk (File) using the best PS driver you have (or
get Adobe's latest PS driver and 'marry' it to a PS printer). Drag the
*.ps or *.prn file into (onto?) open Distiller and
see what happens. Use Exchange to massage anything.
Check you offending PDF file with a text editor (Notepad, vi are good)
to see if you have %PDF (or
maybe %Adobe PDF) as the files topmost line. Could be
your PDFWriter driver is trashed (if so, reinstall).
Ought'a do the trick. If not, check the Adobe FORUMs; good information
and monitored by Adobe people who really DO know what they are doing.
