A major supplier of management software and services, our client develops,
markets, implements, and supports decision support software solutions. They
are seeking Technical Writer and Trainer. As Technical Writer and Trainer,
you will work with programming development staff and software to develop
documentation, graphics and training materials from documentation.
To qualify for this position, you will have a strong technical background
which will enable them to understand our client's management software and
how it will interface with the customer's specific environment. You should
be a tech writer first, and trainer second. You should be a self starter,
motivated, and outgoing with excellent communication skills. You should
have the ability to deal with all types of people at all levels within their
organizations. You should be technically proficient in hardware development
environment, configuration control, project management, QA, MS Office, HTML,
Unix Services, Windows Clients, Oracle DB2, Access. You should know
computer developer's "lingo" and transfer it to "end user" language for
clients. You must have strong presentation skills in technology and be able
to write a user guide from the technical manual.
