Greetings,

A follow-up:

For those who may be receiving contracts for government work, I have
assembled a list of military writers (international) along with their
areas of specialities. If you do contract work or are a Gov. employee
doing documentation and wish to add your name to the list, please e-mail
at the address below.

We can never share enough information as we learn from new processes and
their abends. With MIL STDs being replaced by ISO 12207, it is important
we (MWs - Military Writers) all share what we are learning during this
conversion process. Our group will be trying out a new methodology for
documentation design and management, which is as one writer put it ...not
in 'engineerese'. Though the new 12207 is an open-ended approach to the
software system life cycle, its verbiage still follows a lot of the old
'legal vernacular'. So it is very important to have something to follow
to simplify its structuring. We have found, or are currently testing,
this new documentation methodology. That is why we are trying to put our
military list together, so we can share Gov. writers' inputs. If you
have a friend who is a MW, and does not belong to this particular
listserv, please have them contact me (again at the address below).
