My company's web site originally had a lot of graphics. And our research
found the same as above, the graphics didn't add to the site and it was
very distracting. The site looked unprofessional and now it's in the
process of being redesigned. The reason was because the type of audience
we were trying to reach didn't have the need for the high graphics look,
and did need to be more efficient in its function.
