Software Development
Our Software Department is firmly established in the latest methodologies
and technologies that are fundamental to the rapid development of robust,
maintainable, and reusable software.
Systems Test Engineers
Job Summary:
Person would be responsible for testing software and hardware products.
Writing test cases for various in-house software products as well as
projects for customers; interacting with the engineering staff, utilizing
bug tracking software, and verifying software against
requirements/specifications. The testing would also include function,
integration and performance type tests.
Essential Functions:
* Self-motivated, organized and have excellent communication skills.
* Required to work with the products and technical staff with limited
supervision.
* Able to recognize user design issues and be able to make functional
design recommendations to management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Familiar with UNIX and Windows NT 4.0.
* Ability to be hands on with hardware and general networking
functionality.
* Familiar with bug tracking processes, automated testing tools and
test lab environments is a plus.
* Must be personable and able to elicit information from engineering
staff as needed.
Education and Experience:
* College degree in Information Systems or related job experience is
preferred but not mandatory.
* Previous product testing or product support experience is required.
