We're considering using XML in our department. I would like to do some

have any suggestions on a good Introduction to XML book?
Try The XML Companion by Neil Bradley. The nice thing about this book,
besides its thoroughness, is it doesn't begin with yet another
retelling of the invention of SGML and how XML and HTML were developed
as offshoots. All of that is saved until the last sections.
