I have a new computer and when I try to send my files to postscript files,
the files are created but there's nothing in them! I have watched the print
monitor while this is happening. It displays the file getting up to 1.4+
megs but nothing actually gets into the file!
My system is set up with NT workstation. I believe this is a system thing,
as opposed to a print driver problem, because I have tried this on both of
my PS printer drivers and they are both doing the same thing.

You have a tiger by the tail here...
1. You _are_ using NT4 with Service Packs installed (SP3 or SP4)?
***If not, install at least SP3 and return to GO.
2. Do you have Adobe Type Manager for WindowsNT installed & updated
(version 5.0.1)?
***Recommended!
3. Does your printer use 'clone' PostScript (e.g. HP 4000/5000, etc.;
Lexmark [most]) or genuine Adobe Postscript Level 2 or 3 (e.g. HP
8000/8500/4M/4M+/5M/etc; Tektronix 740/750/840)?
Note that the MS PostScript driver that comes with NT4 is not ready for any
time, prime or otherwise. :-(
a. ***If it's a 'clone' Postscript, ensure that you have the latest printer
drivers from the printer manufacturer.
b. ***If it's genuine Adobe PostScript, download the WinNT version of the
AdobePS.exe file from Adobe web site, read the documentation <g> and set
about creating new driver for your printer.
Now delete any 'old' printer instances and use the ControlPanel > Add
printer dialog to set up the new printer. Make sure the driver info
matches your printer memory & dpi settings.
4. If you're creating .ps files for image-setters, make sure _all_ the
driver settings match what your SB requires (e.g. screen angle, lpi,
positive/negative, crops, etc.). In particular, I'd recommend setting
PostScript Output format to "PostScript (optimise for portability - ADSC)"
5. Drop by the Adobe site and ask questions. Some people there will advise
you most strongly to use Win95/98 for printing PostScript or creating .ps
files.
