The "FrontPage is not pure HTML" rhetoric is total bulls**t. People
have been saying this for years and it simply is not true.
Front Page absolutely uses standard HTML tags. The ONLY derivation
from "standard HTML", whatever the hell that is, is the FrontPage
extensions. If you don't use the FP Extensions, then the HTML
generated is just as "pure" as anything out of HomeBlow or any of the
other HTML generators.

While it's true that FP uses standard HTML, it EXCESSIVELY uses way too
much code and often prevents you from doing exactly want you want
without a battle.
It also is very buggy and crashes when it doesn't like the code you
submit to it.
You can get by using FP if you know HTML well--that's what I'm forced
to use here at the workplace--but there are programs out there that
don't overdue the coding and are much easier to work with.
