Subject:QUESTION: Conversion Pagemaker to Framemaker From:Patricia Bergsma <bergsma -at- LOCAMATION -dot- NL> Date:Thu, 14 Jan 1999 09:05:39 +0100
Good morning all,
Can Pagemaker files be converted to Framemaker or is it necessary to 'cut
and paste' the whole document? In the same way, can .jpg, .wmf, and .eps
files be used in Framemaker?
I'm asked this question by a colleague writer, but I have no experience at
all with Framemaker so I cannot help him. I tried to look through the
archives, but the website was not accessible.
Some background information:
I create Pagemaker documents with photos in .jpg and drawings in .wmf. The
company he works for uses our products in complexed control systems they
produce and sell. I write the documentation for our own products, but he
uses my source files to create their own manual for the whole system. They
want to switch to Framemaker (for their own reasons, please don't react on
this matter) and he wants to know if he can still use my source files.
