Thought I'd share this with you lot, a token managers sometimes do
recognize your situation and do appreciate your concerns. History: I was
finishing a user's manual, everything went smooth, deadline was next day
and the spell checking was the only major task left. And then it happened:
the developers dropped a new build of the software on my desk and surprise
surprise: new functionality!
So off course I went to my manager to complain about this, why wasn't I
told, etc. etc. ... He recognized the problem, wasn't happy with it either
and described my situation in the best way I ever heard: You're suffering
from the mushroom syndrome: you sit and grow in the dark and they only feed
you crap (or sh*t as he said). At least he understands.
