Subject:Royalties for technical editing From:Howard Kaikow <kaikow -at- STANDARDS -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 22 Jan 1999 16:59:04 -0500
Any recommendations for books that discusss the pros/cons of doing
technical editing for, say, an up front advance plus some percentage of the
books receipts?
I have the 1988 edition of The Writer's Legal Companion by Brad Bunnin and
Peter Beren but that describes royalties from the author's perspective.
I also have Technical Editing by Judy Tarutz, but do not recall seeing any
discussion of royalties.
