My company (writing staff of 3) is looking to go with new desktop
publishing software. We currently use Ventura 5.0 and have over a dozen
implementation and user's guides, averaging 150 pages or so, with numerous
screen shots and some illustrations. We want to convert the current
manuals to the new software, update them to coincide with our new software
release and then publish to the web (mostly HTML and some PDF). I'm
considering FrameMaker and Interleaf. If you were me, what would you buy &
why?

The note doesn't say so, but they're also doing printed manuals.

Please feel free to respond to Ruth or to me...I'll forward. I've also
asked her to compile a summary and post it back to the list.

Cheers,

Sarah
