Subject:Re: linking bmps in Word From:George Hinman <techwriter -at- MY-DEJANEWS -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 27 Jan 1999 18:32:16 -0000
One solution is to edit the links directly to set the path you want. To do this:
1. Select the graphic, whose path you wish to edit.
2. Press shift + f9 (this displays field codes).
3. Edit the path according to how you set up your graphics directory, e.g.
{INCLUDEPICTURE "\graphics\image.bmp"\* MERGEFORMAT \d}
4. Select this field code and press f9.
The linked graphic is now updated to the path you have specified. If you're careful, you can do this to the first of the incorrectly linked graphics and then use search & replace to update the others.
Hope this helps
