Subject:Exclamation marks in alert messages? From:"Geoff Hart (by way of \"Eric J. Ray\" <ejray -at- raycomm -dot- com>)" <ght -at- MTL -dot- FERIC -dot- CA> Date:Thu, 28 Jan 1999 12:08:03 -0700
I'm editing the error messages and alert messages for some software
that we'll be producing in English and French. The original text used
copious amounts of exclamation points (!) in the English, which I've
removed and replaced with periods. I'd like to do the same in
the French, but I'd like to confirm whether this is standard French
syntax before I do so. Any comments from our French contingent?
