Standards, getting stuff done, and generally frustrating situation

"I am now working on 61 documents, and can't seem to get any help to
finish them"
61 docs and 1 1/2 months to finish them? Sounds like you need to either
tell them it's too much for one person and have them hire an assistant or
extend your contract.
My boss keeps saying "set your own standards", but every document I do has
to be approved by the
"standards committee".
Sounds like the "standards committee" needs to give out WRITTEN guidelines
on what is and isn't acceptable format. Give that to the boss.
As to the other stuff...Man, I would be doling some work out to the "Team"
whether they want it or not, and copying it to "The Boss." Also, tell
those morons to move on to better games like Unreal...Quake is old stuff.
I started with nothing and I still have most of it left.
