Subject:Adobe PageMaker vs. QuarkXPress? From:Shari Scott <SScott -at- COMPLEXIMAGING -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 10 Feb 1999 14:59:34 -0600
I checked the archives but didn't find anything, so...
For those of you who are teetering on the Marketing Communications line as
well as the Tech Writing, which do you prefer- PageMaker or Quark? I know
the Mac graphic designers usually use Quark but I was wondering about the
writers who also have to do layout work. I have been using Microsoft
Publisher, which is very easy to use but not so good if you have to go to a
printer (most can't even read).
Please, no FrameMaker vs. PageMaker comparisons. This is for 1-2 page
brochures with lots of graphics/screen shots.
Since this is probably not of interest to most, please reply off-list. I'll
post a summary if enough interest.
