Subject:Looking for a mentor? From:"Geoff Hart (by way of \"Eric J. Ray\" <ejray -at- raycomm -dot- com>)" <ght -at- MTL -dot- FERIC -dot- CA> Date:Mon, 15 Feb 1999 07:31:04 -0700
Jl Cc wondered <<Would anyone "out there" be willing to Mentor me
this year?>>
I think you've got the right idea if you're looking for a local
mentor, because the personal contact can make the whole process much
easier (i.e., it's fun to meet people, and the interaction is much
more direct). In the meantime, techwr-l provides a pretty good
substitute if you're willing to accept the timelag that results from
mentoring via e-mail.
