Datatel's Documentation Team currently has an immediate opening for a
documentation specialist. This position is full-time, and it requires
the following:
excellent research and organizational skills.
exceptional writing and editing/grammar skills.
at least two years of experience writing software documentation (or a
demonstrated ability).
experience using advanced desktop publishing/word processing packages
(FrameMaker preferred).
a BS/BA degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer
Science/Information Systems, or a related field.
working knowledge of Windows 95 required.
experience with Unix operating systems and relational databases
preferred.
In addition, familiarity/experience with human resources or higher
education information systems is preferred. If selected for an
interview, you should be prepared to show samples of the software
documentation you have produced. Salary commensurate with experience.
