productivity tools for the professional translator. TRADOS products include
the Translator's Workbench, WinAlign, MultiTerm and The S-Tagger. With a
network of sales and support offices throughout Europe, the US and the Far
East, TRADOS is regarded as a leader in the rapidly expanding translation
tools market and seeks to recruit contract technical writers.
We have an immediate requirement for a number of contract technical
communicators to work with us on all aspects of our information
development. The successful applicants will be very flexible individuals
with strong technical communication backgrounds. They will be familiar with
all aspects of technical communication with particular emphasis on writing,
editing, proof reading and indexing. Attention to detail, flexibility,
excellent communication skills and a deadline driven attitude will also be
required. Exposure to localisation would be an advantage. The contractor
will work mainly off site.
Required skills:
· At least 3 years experience with FrameMaker
· Substantial experience writing and building context sensitive on-line help
· Flexible working hours
· Excellent communications skills
