Subject:Universal Symbol for "Read The Manual" From:Barry Kieffer <barry -dot- kieffer -at- EXGATE -dot- TEK -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 25 Feb 1999 12:10:06 -0800
A few weeks ago a program manager asked me if a triangle with an exclamation
mark inside it was the universal symbol for "Read the manual".
Unfortunately it is not, I had to inform him.
That got me to thinking: What is the universal symbol for "Read the manual"?
If there is not a universal symbol, let me submit the following:
A stick figure sits in a chair.
Another stick figure that is standing beside the chair is hitting
the seated figure in the back of the head with a manual.
Any other ideas out there?
Regards,
