Folks,
Every year, there are a few hundred lawsuits launched
against magazines, cartoonists, and commentators
who satirize and mock public figures or groups.
The end result? Most legal decisions are made in favour
of the satirist because the law upholds free speech, even
if that free speech includes scatological humour or other
comments that are in bad taste.
If Andrea Plato is trying to be funny, it is his right to try.
