We've converted a document from WordPerfect into Word 97. It includes MANY
sets of numbered steps. It seemed to convert all right, and by using the famous
Autonumbering Workaround, the numbering was fine. The file was printed and
opened on various computers, all just fine. NOW the file has been moved from
one server to another, and ALL THE NUMBERS HAVE VANISHED! As you can
imagine, people are getting frantic. How do we get them back? Is there a way
to do it for the whole document, without having to go to each individual
numbered step or set of steps? The sanity of several people here probably
hinges on this.
