First let me say thanks to everyone who has replied to my call for 'help'
concerning my first tech writing job interview. I have again received lots
of, what I hope will be, useful info.
Many were concerened with the age requirement listed in the job description.
This rubs me the wrong way also, but this job is in northern EUROPE, and it
is quite alright in many european states to discriminate based on age (has
something to do with the social welfare system which is closely tied to the
age of an individual). I would think that a serious US firm would not be so
careless. But I guess this is a discussion topic for another list!
Cheers,
Stan
Oh, and further interview advice is still welcome.
