Subject:Looking for work in Boston From:"HICKEY, John David" <jdhickey -at- GROUPE-PROGESTIC -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 16 Mar 1999 10:31:11 -0500
Greetings!
Yet another Canadian is starting to look south of the border for any
opportunities that might rear their ugly heads. I've got my sights set
on Boston. From what I hear, it's a great town and similar to my own
Montreal in many ways.
Are there any Bostonians in here that would be willing to share some
information with me? I've been checking out the job websites for the
Boston area, but since I'd only be ready to move out there in July, I'm
not sure how to proceed. Also, since I don't know the town at all, I'd
love some advice on the hip parts of town to live in.
For those who only read the tabloids to follow my sordid past, I can
tell you with total honesty that I've got six years of experience in the
technical writing field, with four of those years as a freelancer. I'd
be looking for permanent work in Boston. Check out my website for more
information.
Please respond off-list. If anyone wants a summary of what I get, email
me and I'll pass it along.

Be seeing you,
