Subject:CD-ROM Search Engines From:stephen lubell <steven -at- RADMAIL -dot- RAD -dot- CO -dot- IL> Date:Wed, 24 Mar 1999 17:41:32 +0200
Greetings All!
Can anyone out there recommend a search engine to use with CD-ROMs?
The company I work for creates CD-ROMs for various types of data: word
DOCs, PDF files and HTML files. We are looking for a search engine that
works easily with other applications, has the ability to search a database
as well, and is not too complicated to run. To date we have tried several
engines, without great success.
I would be interested in other's experience in this area.
Thanks!
Stephen Lubell
