Duties: Work with technical writer to develop user's guides, on-line help
systems, and related documentation. Examine documentation for content, clarity,
and adherence to specific style and editorial guidelines. Communicate with a
variety of technical and non-technical individuals in the performance of these
duties. Perform software quality assurance testing.
Must be detail-oriented with good written and oral communication skills. Ability
to comprehend and and edit technical materials without modifying substantive
meaning. Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment. General
knowledge of computers required. Knowledge of software development and quality
assurance testing, especially educational software, a plus. Experience with the
Microsoft Windows environment required. Experience with FrameMaker, Microsoft
Word, or RoboHelp desired.
