Subject:Word 97: Numbered headings in TOC From:Sean Cleary <clearys -at- WHO -dot- CH> Date:Thu, 25 Mar 1999 14:48:38 +0100
A colleague of mine is having a problem with Word 97. He has numbered the
headings throughout his document (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc.) using the automatic
numbering feature, and would like these numbers to show up in the table of
contents. Since the numbers are part of each heading, it doesn't seem like there
should be any problem.
However, in the TOC, not all of the numbers show up. This is what he gets:
We have checked the properties of each individual heading paragraph as well as
the TOC and cannot find the problem. Has anyone experienced this before?
Any suggestions for a solution would be most appreciated...
