Thought I'd come out of lurk mode to comment on this. Firstly, I thought
the original posting, I believe by David Meeks, was pretty entertaining.
I've also enjoyed some of the replies I've seen. Along those lines, Maggie

To which, I would like to say that I would prefer Transmission ended on
<end-date>. GPF is okay as a second choice, and could imply some
metaphysical and spiritual connotations, such as the chance to restart the
operation (reincarnation). Which could say something about the individual it
was applied to.
