Here is some information I received from one of our writing
managers regarding Framemaker and AMD's microprocessors:
Framemaker has been independently tested and certified for operation
on AMD processors. There are no known problems with the operation
of Framemaker on AMD-K6 processors or any other AMD processors.
Adobe informs us that they do not know of problems with AMD processors
running Framemaker.
AMD is researching the difficulty reported by a member of this group. We are
very familiar with the operation of Framemaker on AMD processors, we use
Framemaker extensively for our technical documentation. We have had no
processor-related problems with Framemaker in our own organization.
We will notify this group, as soon as we can identify the solution to this
reported problem.
