Micron Electronics in Nampa, Idaho, seeks a technical writer for the
Information Technology (IT) Department.

Must have a bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or technical
communication or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must
have outstanding writing and editing skills and professional writing
experience. Must have good desktop publishing and design skills. Experience
writing online help and HTML for software users is a plus.

The successful candidate will write, edit, and design material such as
online help, web sites, user manuals, and training guides for Micron
Electronics' internal users. Other responsibilities include participating in
peer editing  and writing articles for the IT Department's online newsletter
each month. Hard-copy documentation is rarely published.
