Subject:Current CBT tools From:Bob Johnson <bob -dot- johnson -at- CELERITYSOLUTIONS -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 21 Apr 1999 16:08:16 -0400
In addition to my documentation duties, I've also been tasked with
developing training materials, especially computer-based training. I found
a website that listed a number of CBT and multi-media applications. I
managed to get copies of several to evaluate. These included:
I was most impressed with the last two, though I would use CBIQucik if
necessary (though the price I found was considerably more expensive than the
other two).
My supervisor wants more information about these tools from people who
currently use them, particularly those who can compare two or more.
I have already checked the archives, and found a few comments, but many of
them are out of date (two years old or more).
If you use any of these tools, preferably recent versions, and can provide
useful comments, particularly comparisons, please contact me, preferably off
line, as CBT may cross into the gray-areas of technical writing. If there
is enough interest, I will post a summary of the comments I receive to the
list.
Many thanks in advance.
